Typeface, letter, and Materials
For my letterform project, I chose the letter P. I chose "P" because it is the first letter of my last name. I also feel like "P" is appealing to the eye in most any font/typeface. I chose a simple typeface for my project as I knew that it would be difficult to add much more detail to the "P" in the time I was able to alot for the project. For my design, I plan to make a 12" x 12" wooden frame out of popsicle sticks. I plan to stain the popcicle sticks, and then fill the planter with 1" or so of floral foam. I then will use fake succulent plants to fill the foam and create a letter similar to the look of this letter "H" I am very excited to see how this project turns out, as I would like to use it to decorate my home once it is finished.
